The ‘PVC Waterproof’ mattress is specifically designed with care homes in mind. This Source 5 mattress complies with the relevant fire regulations for commercial use. The PVC cover on these mattresses completely contains the fillings and spring unit in order to make this mattress completely waterproof. The mattress is a medium tension and uses an open coil spring unit offering support. For an extra hygiene, its cover is very easily cleaned with cleaning towels, reducing the risk of bacterial and fungal infections for those that are bed-bound.
If you require extra comfort, this waterproof mattress can be made with a pocket spring unit. For heavier people, we can add a heavy duty spring unit making this mattress firmer and able to withstand more use. Contact us for details.
